Butler Bread Basket
Butler Bread Basket   Price: $8.50

This is my interpretation of a bread basket made in the Butler Tinshop in East Greenville, New York, circa 1824-1855. Nine of Aaron and his wife, Sarah’s, children survived. Their daughter Ann learned to paint at an early age and was most likely taught all phases of the trade which would have included the decorating. According to the family’s history she took over the decorating of the tinware when she was 14 or 15. Use as a bread basket, fill with fruit, or use in any way to decorate your home.
