This is my interpretation of a mural done by Rufus Porter in the Daniel Carr house in North Haverhill, New Hampshire, dating c. 1825-1830. This scene was "woven into the story of Frances Parkinson Keyes' Also the Hills and reproduced as endpapers". As of the 1940’s, this mural was still in excellent condition. The top, sides, and back are paint-grained, using washes of a acrylics and various "tools". Perfect for recipes or any other treasure!
