Sweeter Than Dripping Honey

This design is based on a verse in the Bible: "(His precepts) are more desirable than gold, yes, than much fine gold; Sweeter also than honey and the drippings of the honeycomb." Psalm 19:10 The designs on the rim of the plate and the vine next to the bee skep are based on designs of the 19th century.
